Dr. Ronald Cypher


Dr. Ronald Cypher is a native of Butler, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Butler High School. Dr. Cypher did his premedical training at Westminster College. He attended Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia. Residency training was completed at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed his gynecologic cancer studies at the M.D. Anderson Hospital and Tumor Institute in Houston, Texas. Dr. Cypher did his high-risk obstetrics training at the Pennsylvania Hospital n Philadelphia. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obsetrics and Gynecology. He also belongs to the Pittsburgh Ob/Gyn Society. He is a Diplomat of The National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Cypher is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Fertility Society and The Christian Medical and Dental Society. He was a member of the Butler Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees for nine years. Dr. Ronald Cypher was selected by "Pittsburgh Magazine" as one of six Ob/Gyn's in the Pittsburgh region as a "Top Doc". He resides in Butler with his wife, Debbie, and their two daughters, Heather and Kristin. Dr. Cypher enjoys tennis, marine aquariums, pet parrots, photography, the Steelers, the Penguins and family time.

Dr. Ronald Cypher is on staff at Butler Memorial Hospital, Magee Women's Hospital and West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. He has donated free care for years to the women of Butler that do not have insurance. Dr. Cypher is the founding partner of the group and promotes his practice to treat women in a warm and caring atmosphere with personalized care.
